Exosome LncRNAs as breast cancer biomarkers

Background: Breast cancer is the most common malignancyin females around the World. Invasion and metastasis are themajor reasons for breast cancer-associated mortality. Lnc RNAcould be the cause of invasion and metastasis. In this studyexpression level of exosomal Lnc RNA UCA۱ and H۱۹ wasquantified.Materials and Methods: Human breast cancer specimens werecollected from ۹ patients and ۹ normal women and exosomeswere isolated. At first total RNA was extracted and after that,they were removed to cDNA.At last, the expression level of UCA۱ (Urothelial carcinoma associated۱) and H۱۹ was quantified by Real-Time PCR.Results: Our quantification presents that these LncRNAs wereoverexpressed in the exosomes of patients with Breast Cancer.Conclusion: These LncRNAs have roles in invasion and migrationin Breast Cancer. UCA۱ and H۱۹ could be new biomarkersfor diagnosing Breast Cancer all over the World.
