چکیده مقاله:

Breast cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer-associatedmortality in women worldwide and has become a major publichealth problem. Although the definitive cause of breast canceris not known, many genes sensitive to breast cancer have beendetected using advanced technologies. Recent scientific interesthas therefore focused on the non-coding RNA's roles in tumordevelopment and their potential as therapeutic targets. TheseRNAs comprise the majority of the human transcript and theirbroad action mechanisms range from gene silencing to chromatinremodeling. tRNA-derived fragments (TRFs) are a recentlyidentified group of non-coding single-stranded RNAs that areoften as abundant as microRNAs in cancer cells and play importantroles in breast cancer and several types of cancer carcinogenesis. It is demonstrated that TRFs expression is deregulatedin breast cancer and can be detectable in tumor tissue andplasma. therefore, we can use it as a biomarker in breast cancerdiagnosis, prognosis, and therapeutic targets such as tDR-۷۸۱۶,tDR-۵۳۳۴, and tDR-۴۷۳۳. Here, we review their expressionpatterns, functions, prognostic value, and potential therapeuticuse as well as related technologies.
