چکیده مقاله:

In this paper, a numerical method, namely the fractional order of the Euler functions collocation method(FEC), to obtain the approximate solution of Thomas-Fermi equation which is a nonlinear singular ordinarydifferential equation on semi-infinite domain is introduced. This method reduces the solution of this problemto the solution of a system of algebraic equations. A good agreement between the obtained solution andsome well-known results has been demonstrated. The proposed technique can be applied for solving otherstrongly nonlinear problems.
