چکیده مقاله:

Today, because of population growth, Iran has to face two major challenges, providing employment to youth and nutritive food in adequate quantity to Iranian people. The beekeeping industry can play an important role in addressing these challenges. In Iran's beekeeping industry, more attention is paid to honey production, and the role of other by-products such as pollen is not considered, while pollen as a nutritional supplement contains carbs, fat, protein, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants and It has an extremely important therapeutic role. With respect to pollen on the industrial scale can be very attractive for rural Agri-horticulture based healthy entrepreneurship. The various benefits of pollen include; providing self-employment to rural and forest-based populations and providing employment to rural educated youths. This review article points out the benefits of pollen's nutritional and medicinal value of pollen and its capacity in creating employment and healthy entrepreneurship in Iran.
