چکیده مقاله:
Purpose: The aim of this study was examining effect of different track and field spike running shoes on frequency spectrum of gaternocenimius medialis muscle activity of flat foot people during walking. Methods: This study was quasi-experimental. Twelve flat-foot people volunteered for the study. A wireless electromyography system with ۸ pairs of dipole surface electrodes was also used to record Electromyography activity of selected gastrocnemius medialis muscle during walking. The median frequency of gastrocnemius medialis muscle activity was recorded using speed, endurance and control shoes during walking in flat foot people..Results: The results showed that the median frequency of the gastrocnemius medialis muscle in the flat foot people was lower when using speed (p=۰.۰۰۵) and endurance (p=۰.۰۳۲) shoes compared to control shoes. Conclusion: The results showed that the use of speed and endurance shoes in flat foot people reduced the median frequency of gastrocnemius medialis muscle durring walking. This can increase the injury rate in the flat foot people.
