چکیده مقاله:

Frequent applications of lumine scence dyes in differe nt areas of research suc h as clinica l, pharmaceutical , biochemical , organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) , organic field effect transisto rs (OFETs) [۱] have spurred the demand for prepar ation of no vel standard luminescence materials. In addition most l uminescence -based assays need calibration ste ps such as spectral cor rection of detectors, demonstration of day-to-day stability of signals, comparis on of instrument- to- instrument performance and determination of wavelength accuracy. Standard luminesce nt chemicals have im portant roles in these calibratio n procedures [۲]. In m ost cases, suitable chromophore-based standards for the calibration an d performa nce validation of photoluminescenc e measuring systems and for the m easurement of the important fluorometric quantities (e.g. fluorescence quantum yi elds of the fluorophores) should h ave several characte ristics such as simple and unstructured emis sion spectra, moderate to high fluorescence q uantum yiel d, stable che mical structure, low overlap betwee n absorptio n and emis sion spectrum and resistance to ph oto-degradation. We fou nd that novel furandic arboxylate d erivatives synthesized in our lab oratory [۳] have all of the requir ed criteria m entioned ab ove for suitable fluorescence standards. Thus i n this work, we report t he main spectroscopical and electrochemical properties of the n ovel furandicarboxylate derivatives as potential fluorescence standa rds .Their outstanding c haracteristi cs make them preferable alternatives to the well-known and widely used fluorescence standards such as luminol and anthracene .
