چکیده مقاله:

Introduction: To design and develop a health information system, users' opinions of such systems will play an essential role in their use and usability. This study aimed to investigate nurses' attitudes about the effect of electronic health records on performance and treatment outcomes. Methods: Search for English articles using the keywords Attitude, Electronic Health Records, Nursing care, Hospital Nursing Staff, Nursing Informatics, and AND and OR operators in four databases: Embase, PubMed, Scopus, Web Science without time limit in November Done 2020. In this study, the PRISMA checklist was used to determine the study methodology's validity and accuracy. Disagreements between the two browsers were resolved through consultation with the third author. Studies that were inconsistent with the research goal and written in a non-English language were removed. Results: 158 articles were found that after removing duplicates, reviewing the title and abstracts, 14 articles were finally included in the study. Nurses believed that record physician orders (CPOE), patient medication information, and nursing documentation flowcharts are the most critical factors in accepting electronic health records. Most nurses preferred electronic health records to paper records because they enhanced access to patient clinical records without time and space constraints, facilitated documentation and information retrieval, improved work organization, controlled performance management, and reduced hospitalization rates. Reduce medication errors and help them provide safer care to the patient. However, some believe that the use of electronic health records reduces the quality of care and less attendance at the patient's bedside makes the nurse-nurse relationship Be weaker with the patient and the use of EHR was time-consuming, needed training and support and recommended its combination with common nursing languages for further use. Conclusion: Successful implementation of electronic health records makes it nurses easier to work and saves time and quality of patient care. However, there is little information on the use of electronic health information systems by nurses in developing countries, which requires further research in this regard and specifically on existing needs.
