چکیده مقاله:
Background and Objective: One of the mental disorders that threaten mothers after childbirth is depression, which is characterized by a lack of enjoyment, irritability, anger and lowered self-esteem.The purpose of this study was to investigate depression in pregnant women.Search Method: This search was conducted in SID, PubMed, ScienceDirect, Scopus, Google Scholar, Springer with the keywords of Depression, Postpartum, and Crisis in the period 2000 to 2019.Findings: Chinese culture regards "postpartum preservation" as the overall health of women who have given birth. There are traditional Chinese guidelines for restricting women at home and performing duties in the first month after delivery. Low levels of serotonin, dopamine and norepinephrine alter the neurons in the brain and the effect of polyunsaturated fatty acids on these membranes and even hormones, especially hormonal changes that occur during and after pregnancy they all have a bearing on this depression. Conclusion: In patients with depression, the levels of monoamine neurotransmitters change, and monoamine neurotransmitters that do not cross the blood-brain barrier lead to depression.
