بررسی سازگاری سه زیرگونه اکالیپتوس ‭Eucalyptus globulus ‬در استان گلستان

Different eucalyptus species have important economical effect on wood industries. Today, there are different levels of eucalypt Plantation at various parts of the world, but before plantation, species trial should be applied to select the best adapted species. The main purpose of this trial was to introduce the best subspecies of E. globules for Golestan province of I. R. Iran, because of its importance in wood, pulp and oil production. The trial was conducted under Randomized complete Blocks statistical design with four treatments (four subspecies of E.globulus)and three replications. The seedlings were planted at 33ا m. Spacing in Chalaki Experimental station of Gorgan city. The four subspecies were: globulus, bicostata, maidenii and Pseudoglobulus. the measured variables were: Survival, diameter and total height. The subspecies differed significantly in respect to height and diameter variables. The best and worst subspecies in respect to diameter and height characteristics were bicostata and maidenii, respectively.
