چکیده طرح پژوهشی:

The aims of this study were to determine the effect of Polymer on soil sorptivity and water- holding capacity for one year. In this study, Polymer was applied to the Pots filling with three Types of soil namely light , medium and heavy texture at a rate of 0.3 g/100 g of soil. In all Pots Panicum seeds were planted and finally their yields were compared at the end of experiment. For this experiment complete randomized block was conducted as split-split plots with four replication. The treatments were soil texture, irrigation cycles, and application of Polymer. At the start of experiment, Potassium and Phosphorous fertilizers were mixed to the Pots soil and also ammonium nitrate was applied two times associate with irrigation water. The results of this experiment showed that, firstly the growth of Panicum grass in Soils having Polymer was significantly better than Pots without Polymer. Secondly the amount of Nitrogen drained from pots with non-polymer treatments (controls was more than Polymer treatments. It is also concluded that available Potassium measured at the end of harvesting period was higher in soils with polymer compared to control treatments without Polymer. Soil moisture characteristic curve prepared for all treatments showed that the influence of polymer in water-holding capacity was significantly better in light-texture soil compared with other treatments.
