Application of Image Processing in Studying Soil Properties (review study)

Image processing is a technology for studying images and using them to estimate different parameters in different fields of study. This research has tried to give a summary of this methods application in geotechnical engineering and soil study. Studies collected here try to investigate different parameters. Soil aggregation, aggregates movement and soil deformation, cracks and pores and their effect on other parameters and soil structure under loading are subjects introduced in this study. These applications necessitate more studies on this technology.
