An Economical View of Natural gas trading in the form of LNG: Prices versus Capacity and Distance

Today, natural gas transport in the form of LNG (liquefied natural gas) is one of the important options for worldwide natural gas trading. The aim of this study is to consider LNG as the most cost-effective way for natural gas trading in long distances. This is an important issue for countries such as Iran which holds the second largest natural gas reserves in the world; this estimation allows them to adopt an effective marketing policy for the future.
