چکیده مقاله:

Brain cancer is the major cause of cancer deaths in the under 35 years old patients. Cisplatin is one of the common anti-cancer drugs of chemotherapy that is applied in the treatment of various malignant tumors, including brain cancer cells. Despite significant advantages of Cisplatin in the treatment of Neoplasia, it has several side effects that are briefly include: fatigue, body electrolyte imbalance (loss of magnesium, calcium and potassium), low blood cells counts, nephrotoxicity, neurotoxicity, ototoxicity, nausea, and vomiting and also hair loss. Nanoparticles are designed to deliver the chemotherapy drugs with a lower concentration and more effectiveness. Polymeric nanoparticles of poly butyl cyanoacrylate are perfectly qualified for drug delivery. In this study, the nanoparticles of poly butyl cyanoacrylate are synthesized, and the average size of nanoparticles was determined by the Zetasizer device; then, these nanoparticles were loaded by cisplatin and coated by Polysorbate 80. Finally, the free and Polysorbate 80 coated drug was injected to 20 rates to investigate the function of the drugs. Different volumes of cisplatin were injected to rates and the size of tumor was studied in different periods after treatment. It was indicated that Cisplatin loaded PBCA nanoparticles are an effective anti-cancer compound. The experimental results were simulated by neural network and the results were found to contain the lowest percentage of errors in compare with the experimental data.
