The Concept of Comfort and its Impact on Architects Performance

In today’s highly competitive world, enterprises tend to use all their capacities and facilities to realize their objectives, which leads to better staff effectiveness and overall performance of the enterprise. Workspace, as a set of psychological and physical stimuli, directly determines performance, sense of attachment and satisfaction of the staff. Architects who design such workspaces are no exception and tend to be more creative and quality-oriented when working in appropriate conditions. Thus, the present study investigates effects of workspace, in terms of effectiveness, physical and psychological factors, on the performance of architects. A questionnaire is used for this. Results demonstrate and compare effects of these factors on architects’ performance.
