چکیده مقاله:

Recently, application of nano packaging has been broadened in agriculture and food sector due to its proved higher mechanical and antibacterial properties. Investigators have studied numerous type of packaging that each of these packaging contain a special kind of nano particles. Also those packaging which containing similar type of nano particles may differ from size, shape as well as electrical load. Despite there are many kinds of nanoparticles, silver, clay and copper are of higher importance since they are cost effective and easily synthesized. In the current research we havestudied production of nano silver, Nano copper and nano clay packaging using a twin screw extruder. To study the synergistic effect of these nanoparticles we have mixed silver and clay in different percentages as well as silver and silver and copper. Mixed nanoparticles were added to low density poly ethylene before entering the extruder. The average size of implemented nanoparticles was 20 nm, 40 nm and 10 nm for silver, copper and clay, respectively. Scanning electron Microscope and thickness test was done for all 3o produced samples. SEM images showed welldispersity of nanoparticles. Increasing the percentage of implemented Nano clay led to lowering the smoothnessof the packaging, however it did not have any effect on other packaging. To conclude, incorporation of NPs notonly didn’t decrease the mechanical properties of Packaging but also lead to better mechanical and antibacterial properties.
