Comparing and reviewing the legal provisions of the Family Protection Law 2012

Considering the special role of the family institution in the legal system of Islam and acknowledging the existence of some deficiencies in the existing laws governing the family institution, the necessity of reviewing the previous laws and ratifying the law that as far as possible eliminates the existing problems and Being responsive to possible future bottlenecks, it was well felt. For this reason, the new family protection law was passed in March 2012. To avoid tangible judgments and scattered laws, materials were included in this law to facilitate the process of proceedings. Examining the laws of family support indicates that the legislator has adapted to the new needs of the community and has sought to prevent the conflict and tension in marital relations. Although the two passage laws in this area are not defective. In this article, we try to examine the legal and criminal aspects of family protection laws. This paper has been conducted through a descriptive- analytical method through library research.
