The Investigation of the Principles and Techniques of the Management of Sustainable Development and Economic Transformation

In early 1990s, after the breakdown of Soviet Union, countries, based on their degree of development, were divided into 2 groups of developing and developed countries. In this categorization, little attention had been paid to the analysis of the special features of development in these countries, most of which situated in Pacific Ocean zone. It was not only their conditions in different fields of production which was neglected; but also environmental pollution and the conditions of using natural resources received no attention. Alteration in market economy which was based on the investment of private sector continued by reconsidering and reconstructing the economy of communist countries and the correction of their activities. Alterations of market economy, increasing prices of energy and other resources, economic reconstruction have led to serious problems in recent decades. However, from the point of view of sustainability, increasing use of renewable resources is a positive change in development. Although the concept sustainable development is clear enough, true interpretation and definition of it needs detailed elaboration of new suggested models of social sustainable development and the management of it. Understanding the nature of sustainability and its relationship with new definitions of sustainable development and management will be easier if the concept of sustainable development is strengthened by new principles and methodological presumptions
