چکیده مقاله:
This research aims to explore how EMEs from countries with a range of cultural differences to the host countryexploit entrepreneurial opportunities in a single host country. This study investigates: (1) the types of opportunitiesexploited by EMEs and (2) the way they exploit these entrepreneurial opportunities. This paper mainly offered acontextualised insight on the link between entrepreneurial opportunity exploitation and cultural differences. Thefindings of this study uncovered the moderating role of cultural differences (operationalised as cultural distance). In particular, this research has developed a matrix of entrepreneurial opportunities based on cultural differencesfor EMEs, which can be useful for EMEs and the host country. This research contributes to theory throughconnecting the institutional–individual divide in entrepreneurship discussion through an institutional lens. Apractical implication of this study is a delineation of opportunities according to cultural differences, which isuseful for entrepreneurs across borders.
