A New Approach for Supplier Selection under Uncertainty

In this paper a new approach is proposed for supplier selection under uncertainty with multiple criteria decision making. The approach integrates ideas of a group of decision makers efficiently. As, in reality decision maker s knowledge is usually vague and imprecise, in this paper VIKOR method is combined with Intutionistic fuzzy sets theory in order to consider the uncertainty in supplier selection problem. Moreover, Linguistic values are utilized to assess the ratings and weights of criteria. Also, for aggregating the decision makers ideas Intutionistic fuzzy weighted averaging operator (IFWA) is applied. Also the approach could be used for similar group decision making cases. Finally the proposed approach is conducted for a numerical examples and its efficacy and efficiency is verified via this section.
