Resistance Economy by Power Generation from gas flaring

Nearly 150 billion cubic meters of natural gas that are emitted from drilling oil wells are flared in the world each year. Gas flaring made most challenging energy problem to the global environment. Representing huge unused of natural resources and contributing 400 million metric tons of CO2 annually. Iran currently ranks as the world’s 4th after Russia, Nigeria and USA in gas flaring production. 7.5% of total amount gas flaring equal in emission terms to 5.5 million cars the annual emissions, released for no useful purpose in our country. This paper addressed that the technology at reasonable cost can be implemented in-order gas flaring in the country to be allocated. Maintaining gas flaring is going to be in direction of Resistance Economy, this model of economy proposed by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei nearly 4 years ago in a bid to pave the way for a transition from the era of Western-imposed sanctions. Resistance Economy is powerfully deals with international developments and fluctuations a push for self-sufficiency and domestic production. Implementing gas flare power plant for economy and environment purpose as well as local market opportunity has analyzed in this paper.
