A Modi ed Version of Equivalence Principle Adapted for Open Surfaces

Using the equivalence theorem, we propose a novel current expansion scheme over open surfaces. By modifying the expansion coe cients of low-order basis functions with a suitable window function, it is feasible to compensate for errors caused by current truncation at open edges. Our numerical simulations reveal that these new coe cients can be used to provide the original electromagnetic elds in a limited region, which is close to the open surface.
