چکیده مقاله:
The present research was conducted by a descriptive-correlation method to study the correlation between Spiritual intelligence and career success of principals of MeshkinShahr schools in the educational year 2014-15. The statistical population in this research includes 100 principals of MeshkinShahr City, all selected as samples. King (2008) questionnaire was used to measure the Spiritual intelligence and Nabi (2001) questionnaire was used to measure the career success. The results showed that mean career success of the administrators is average to high (3.73), which intrinsicand career success was high (3.9) and extrinsic career success was low (3.55). Also, mean Spiritual intelligence of the school administrators was average to high (3.87). Of Spiritual intelligencevariables Personal Meaning Production has the highest mean value (4.04) and Conscious State Expansion has the lowest value (3.87). Pearson correlation coefficient indicates that there is a positive statistical correlation between spiritual intelligence (and its variables) and career success. The other results showed that male school principals had higher career success as compared to female principals. Multiple regression test also showed that spiritual intelligence variables account for %33.5 of SST (R2Adj =0.335). And Conscious State Expansion (β=0.511) has a higher capacity to explain career success compared to other spiritual intelligence variables, but Personal Meaning Production and Transcendental Awareness do not have the capacity to predict career success of the school principals. Finally, recommendations were presented in order to promote spiritual intelligence of the school principals and increase their career success.
