چکیده مقاله:

Providing a final appropriate definition of entrepreneurship has been thecenter of interest of many researches in entrepreneurship literature. Howeverdespite all these efforts, still there is not an accepted definition of entrepreneur and entrepreneurship. This paper distinguishes that the currentdominant discourse of entrepreneurship has been shaped mainly around the concept of opportunity and especially the economic type of opportunity.Most of the entrepreneurship researches have tried to establish a fixed pointof departure with providing a functionalist definition of entrepreneurshiparound the concept of exploiting economic opportunities. However it isfurther discussed that for entrepreneurship research to keep up withentrepreneurial practice, poststructuralist discourse may provides a betterinterpretation of entrepreneurship.
