Drought Assessment Using Stram flow Drought index (Case Study in Fars province in iran ) Mahvash Mehrabi& Saide Soltani

Natural disasters such as drought, which is very harmful effects on the ecosystem of the event enters.This study will look at the disaster payments. One way to study and evaluate the drought is the drought index. The reconstruction of the data using correlation between the stations and the regression is performed. After the stations were calculated SDI stearmflow drought index is factor due to the flow of the river is the key to identifying hydrologic drought, famine accurately shows. In general it was found that in 64-68 years there have been a short term drought after drought in a normal situation, but in recent years (87-88) and (89-88) and change in drought status more serious has happened.
