چکیده مقاله:

The post-pandemic educational landscape has necessitated a re-evaluation of the determinants of student well-being. This meta-analysis investigates the relationship between Quality of School Life (QSL) and Subjective Well-being (SWB) among students, with a specific focus on the moderating role of Religious Orientation (RO). Synthesizing data from ۱۲ high-quality empirical studies published between ۲۰۲۲ and ۲۰۲۵, representing diverse global and Iranian contexts, the study employs a random-effects model to calculate pooled effect sizes. The results indicate a significant positive correlation between QSL and SWB (pooled r = ۰.۳۷, p < ۰.۰۰۱). Crucially, moderation analysis reveals that this relationship is significantly stronger in students with high religious orientation (r = ۰.۴۳) compared to those with low religious orientation (r = ۰.۳۶). Subgroup analyses and meta-regression confirm that religious orientation serves as a vital psychological buffer, enhancing the positive impact of a favorable school environment on student happiness. These findings suggest that integrating spiritual support within the school quality framework is essential for fostering resilience in the post-pandemic era.
