Meta-Analysis of the Effectiveness of Integrated Neurofeedback and ACT Protocols on Executive Functions and Death Anxiety in Elderly Cancer Patients

This meta-analysis investigates the combined efficacy of Neurofeedback (NF) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) protocols in improving executive functions and reducing death anxiety among elderly cancer patients. A systematic search of literature published between ۲۰۲۰ and ۲۰۲۵ identified relevant studies. The findings suggest that integrated NF and ACT interventions demonstrate a significant positive effect on both executive functions and death anxiety in this vulnerable population. This article discusses the implications of these findings for clinical practice and future research, highlighting the potential of such combined therapeutic approaches to enhance the quality of life for elderly cancer patients.
