چکیده مقاله:

Emotional divorce, characterized by the erosion of emotional intimacy and psychological connection despite the continuation of legal marriage, represents a significant yet under-researched phenomenon in long-term unions. This meta-analytic study synthesizes research findings from ۲۰۲۰ to ۲۰۲۵ to identify the primary risk and protective factors associated with emotional divorce in marriages lasting ۲۰ years or more. A systematic search of Google Scholar and global databases yielded ۳۲ high-quality studies meeting the inclusion criteria. Meta-analytic results indicate that high-quality communication (OR = ۰.۴۹), mutual commitment (OR = ۰.۳۸), and emotional intimacy (OR = ۰.۵۲) are the strongest protective factors. Conversely, high conflict frequency (OR = ۲.۱) and attachment insecurity (OR = ۱.۸) significantly predict emotional dissolution. The findings emphasize the importance of longitudinal maintenance of psychological bonds to prevent "gray" emotional divorce.
