چکیده مقاله:

Agricultural machinery operates under severe mechanical and environmental conditions that impose demanding tribological requirements on lubricants used in engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, wet brakes, power take-off (PTO) units, and final drives. Consequently, modern agricultural lubricants have evolved from conventional mineral oils into highly engineered multifunctional formulations designed to simultaneously provide friction reduction, wear protection, thermal stability, corrosion resistance, oxidation control, and hydraulic efficiency. This review critically examines the evolution of agricultural machinery lubricants, highlighting lubrication requirements, lubricant classification, and the engineering principles governing Super Tractor Oil Universal (STOU), Universal Tractor Transmission Oil (UTTO), and Tractor Drive Train Oil (TDTO). Particular emphasis is placed on the complementary roles of base oils and multifunctional additive technologies in determining lubricant performance under demanding agricultural operating conditions. Emerging developments in synthetic and biodegradable base oils, advanced additive chemistries, intelligent lubricant condition monitoring, and sustainable lubrication strategies are also discussed. Finally, future challenges associated with the digitalization and gradual electrification of agricultural machinery are evaluated, with particular attention to electro-tribological behavior, thermal management, and multifunctional lubricant design. The review provides an integrated engineering perspective intended to support the development of reliable, efficient, and sustainable lubrication technologies for next-generation agricultural machinery.
