چکیده مقاله:
Social anxiety disorder, formerly known as social phobia, is an anxiety disorder characterized by intense anxiety and excessive self-consciousness in everyday social situations. People with social anxiety have a persistent, intense, and chronic fear of being scrutinized and judged by others and of being embarrassed or humiliated by their actions. Their fear may be so severe that it interferes with work, school, or other activities. While many people with social anxiety disorder recognize that their fear of being around people may be excessive or irrational, they are unable to overcome it. They often worry for days or weeks before a feared situation. In addition, they often experience low self-esteem and depression. Social anxiety disorder in adolescents is also a common mental health disorder that affects a large number of adolescents and their families, and with timely diagnosis and treatment, it can be overcome safely. Social anxiety disorder is one of the most common mental disorders that affects millions of people around the world. This disorder, which is accompanied by an intense fear of being judged by others and social situations, can severely overshadow personal, professional life and interpersonal relationships. Many people with this disorder avoid social situations, experience feelings of loneliness and isolation, and may even forgo career and educational opportunities due to fear of facing others.
