چکیده مقاله:
The increasing integration of digital technologies into Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) has significantly transformed instructional practices, learner engagement, and teacher professional development. Among contemporary innovations, microlearning and reflective digital practice have emerged as influential approaches for improving teaching effectiveness and learner-centered instruction. This paper critically examines the pedagogical role of microlearning and reflective digital practice in modern TEFL settings. Drawing on contemporary educational technology and language education scholarship, the paper argues that microlearning enhances flexibility, accessibility, and learner engagement through concise instructional units, while reflective digital practice supports teachers' pedagogical awareness, professional growth, and instructional responsiveness. The discussion also considers limitations, including fragmented learning, technological inequity, and superficial reflection. It is argued that successful TEFL pedagogy depends on a balanced integration of concise digital instruction and systematic reflective engagement. The paper concludes that combining microlearning with reflective digital practice can strengthen language instruction while promoting evidence-informed teaching and continuous professional development.
