The Relationship between Self-Efficacy and Foreign Language Achievement among Senior and Junior Iranian High School Students

In the present study, an attempt has been made to determine relationship between self-efficacy and foreign language achievement. The participants of this study were ۲۶۴ senior and junior students who had been selected through cluster random sampling technique from high schools of Ahvaz. In order to accomplish the objective of this paper, a questionnaire was administered to the participants. The questionnaire was The Sharer's General Self-Efficacy Scale. Moreover, students' English final exam held by Iran Assessment and Evaluation Center was considered as an indicator of language achievement. The results indicated a positive linear correlation between all variables.
