چکیده مقاله:

Persian literature stands not merely as a collection of poetic and prose texts but as the cultural and civilizational identity card of the Land of Iran. This vast treasure has, over more than a millennium, functioned as a vital artery, circulating the lifeblood of Iranian culture through the body of its history. From mythological texts to mystical and lyrical masterpieces, Persian literature has served as a comprehensive mirror, reflecting the values, beliefs, sufferings, and aspirations of its people, playing an unparalleled role in shaping its collective identity. This paper employs a descriptive-analytical method to explore the multifaceted impacts of Persian literature on the cultural richness of Iran. The analysis delves into its role in forming and sustaining national identity, particularly through Ferdowsi's Shahnameh; its function as a vessel for Islamic mystical thought in the works of Rumi and others; its contribution to disseminating social and ethical values via Sa'di and Hafez; and its capacity for linguistic preservation and fostering cross-cultural ties. The findings confirm that Persian literature is the backbone of Iranian culture, having created a resilient and integrated cultural identity capable of withstanding historical upheavals through the synthesis of myth, history, mysticism, and ethics.
