چکیده مقاله:

AI now dramatically alters how information about individuals gets gathered, handled, then employed throughout various industries (Crawford, ۲۰۲۱; Zuboff, ۲۰۱۹). Laws like Europe’s GDPR alongside California’s CCPA offer solid data protections (Voigt & von dem Bussche, ۲۰۱۷; Solove & Schwartz, ۲۰۲۱); nevertheless, they don’t fully cover the new dangers from AI decisions, predictions based on patterns, or widespread monitoring using biometrics (Wachter, Mittelstadt, & Floridi, ۲۰۱۷; Brkan, ۲۰۱۹). Experts discuss established privacy methods; however, a key problem remains - linking law, ethics, also technology together into something that can deal with these evolving issues (Floridi & Cowls, ۲۰۱۹; Mantelero, ۲۰۱۸). The piece looks at how digital privacy is changing, comparing rules from Europe, America, likewise China (Liu, ۲۰۲۲; Calzada, ۲۰۲۲). It suggests upcoming laws shouldn’t just focus on safeguarding data - they should also demand openness, responsibility, moreover impartiality in algorithms (Hacker, ۲۰۱۸; Mittelstadt, ۲۰۱۹). The research, looking at law alongside society, reveals current rules fall short when it comes to shielding people from unfair results or lost control within systems run by machines (Yeung, ۲۰۱۸; Veale & Edwards, ۲۰۱۸). It indicates we urgently require oversight spanning local laws together with global partnerships, guaranteeing privacy remains a basic human entitlement even with advancing artificial intelligence (UNHRC, ۲۰۲۱; OECD, ۲۰۲۱; WEF, ۲۰۲۲).
