Modeling urban social networks with the help of artificial intelligence to enhance citizen participation in municipal processes

A comprehensive study on modeling urban social networks using artificial intelligence to enhance citizen participation in municipal processes. The paper proposes advanced network modeling techniques combined with AI tools such as machine learning, social network analysis, and natural language processing to analyze and strengthen interactions between citizens and city authorities. Emphasizing the importance of data-driven engagement, the study highlights how AI can facilitate targeted communication, early crisis detection, and participatory policymaking, ultimately fostering trust and collaboration between urban residents and municipal institutions. The findings suggest that implementing AI-powered social network modeling can significantly improve urban governance, with specific applications for the city of Urmia, leading to more inclusive, responsive, and effective city management. This approach paves the way toward smarter, citizen-centric urban development.
