چکیده مقاله:

methodological implications of artificial intelligence (AI) for comparative theology within monotheistic traditions. Employing an interdisciplinary analytical-descriptive methodology, the research examines three core dimensions: the semantic capacities of large language models (LLMs) and natural language processing (NLP) tools in interpreting sacred texts (e.g., the Qur’an, the Torah, and the Bible); the methodological shifts brought about by AI in reducing interpretive bias, accelerating textual analysis, and expanding the scope of interreligious comparison; and the epistemic tensions between algorithmic logic and theological rationality. Findings indicate that while AI enhances structural and semantic mapping across scriptures—identifying convergences and divergences in divine discourse—it cannot replace human interpretive authority rooted in sacred tradition, historical context, and spiritual intuition. Rather, AI should be situated within a normative theological and ethical framework that respects the sanctity and context-specificity of religious texts. Drawing on conceptual frameworks from the philosophy of religion, computational linguistics, and digital humanities, the article proposes a three-layered model for AI-assisted comparative theology: textual analysis, semantic abstraction, and theological interpretation. The study also suggests the development of indigenous platforms for interreligious textual analytics using languages such as Python and Java, incorporating neural networks and semantic ontologies. The article’s innovation lies in reframing AI not merely as a computational tool, but as a catalyst for rethinking theological inquiry in light of digital epistemologies.
