چکیده مقاله:
Today, one of the most significant environmental impacts stems from building construction. During the construction phase, processes such as the production and transportation of building materials consume vast amounts of energy. Furthermore, during the building's operational lifespan, each material contributes varying levels of energy loss. Past studies have investigated the construction industry's energy consumption, focusing either on material production or building operation. A comprehensive study encompassing both phases has yet to be conducted. This study aims to calculate the total energy consumption during production and operation for various scenarios using different combinations of external building materials. Results showed that using aerated concrete blocks resulted in the greatest energy savings, while using calcium silicate brick blocks resulted in the greatest energy waste.
