چکیده مقاله:

Aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), this study identifies the key components of a Green Organizational Identity (GOI) by exploring how organizations integrate green energy, environmental management, and sustainability. The aim of this research is to identify the key components of Green Organizational Identity (GOI) within third-millennium organizations. This qualitative study employs a systematic, data-driven approach, focusing on a sample of ۱۵ experts selected through purposive sampling. Semi-structured interviews were conducted to gather data, which were organized into eight thematic axes and coded to develop a paradigm model for “Identifying the Key Components of GOI.” The findings indicate that multiple factors can serve as components of GOI in third-millennium organizations. Causal factors include green creativity, organizational values, environmental culture, green behavior, and intra-organizational identity. Intervention-related factors consist of sustainable development, environmental management, green HR management, employee motivation, green strategy, and social responsibility. Intervening factors include resource management and transparency, while contextual factors involve green leadership, environmental commitment, management systems, and awareness. These factors drive reduced pollution, social legitimacy, competitive advantage, efficiency, and innovation. Strengthening GOI requires promoting green culture, R&D, stakeholder collaboration, and public relations, thereby transforming organizations into sustainable and responsible entities. Overall, a strong GOI enhances sustainability, employee engagement, and well-being, while supporting healthier ecosystems and improving quality of life. Consequently, a strong GOI provides a strategic framework for achieving the UN SDGs. The inter-coder reliability improved from ۸۰% to ۹۲%, indicating strong coding consistency and validation of the qualitative findings.
