چکیده مقاله:

This study investigates the effectiveness of public investment in supportive sports programs for elderly individuals diagnosed with Parkinson's disease between ۱۹۹۰ and ۲۰۲۵. Using longitudinal data analysis complemented by MATLAB-based modeling, the research explores the relationship between government spending on physical activity initiatives and key health outcomes, including fall rates, hospitalization rates, and program participation levels. The findings reveal a significant increase in public investment, rising sixfold over the study period, which corresponds with marked reductions in fall and hospitalization rates among the elderly Parkinson's population. Additionally, participation in exercise programs grew substantially from ۵% in ۱۹۹۰ to ۶۰% in ۲۰۲۵, indicating enhanced accessibility and acceptance of physical activity as a therapeutic approach. These trends suggest that sustained public funding plays a critical role in improving functional health outcomes and reducing healthcare system burdens for this vulnerable group. The analysis also underscores the importance of continuous and long-term investments rather than short-term or fragmented funding models, as countries with consistent support observed better clinical improvements. Moreover, the study highlights the socio-cultural impact of such programs, emphasizing increased awareness and engagement among patients. While limitations include reliance on observational data and potential confounding factors, the overall evidence supports exercise as an essential component of Parkinson's disease management and calls for its institutionalization within public health policies. Policy implications include the recommendation to embed exercise prescriptions in national Parkinson's care protocols, allocate sustained funding to community-based sports programs, and develop mechanisms for monitoring program effectiveness and equity of access. Future research should focus on randomized controlled trials, the role of digital interventions, and addressing disparities in program participation across diverse populations. Public investment in supportive sports programs is a cost-effective strategy that enhances quality of life and clinical outcomes for elderly Parkinson's patients. This preventive care approach aligns with the broader goals of sustainable healthcare systems facing increasing demands due to aging populations and neurodegenerative diseases.
