چکیده مقاله:
The growing demand for safe and resilient infrastructure has highlighted the importance of efficient monitoring. However, conventional methods are often costly, labor-intensive, and limited in scope. This paper provides an overview of recent advances in remote sensing technologies applied to geotechnical monitoring, with a focus on Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR), Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR), and Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). These methods offer high precision, wide spatial coverage, and the ability to access hazardous or remote areas, thereby addressing many limitations of traditional approaches. In addition, the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) enables real-time data processing, intelligent analysis, and predictive modeling of soil and structural behavior. Although these innovations have significantly improved monitoring efficiency, challenges such as high implementation costs, regulatory restrictions, and data security concerns remain. Overall, advances in remote sensing, supported by AI and IoT, provide promising pathways toward smarter, safer, and more cost-effective geotechnical monitoring.
