چکیده مقاله:

This study examines the mediating role of parental authority in the relationship between aggression and social discipline in adolescents. Aggression is one of the undesirable behaviors that can have negative effects on social relationships and individual discipline in adolescents. On the other hand, parental authority refers to a set of parental expectations and behaviors that can influence the formation of the personality and social behaviors of children. In this study, data on adolescents and their parents were collected using quantitative and qualitative methods. The results show that aggression in adolescents is significantly related to their social discipline. Also, parental authority acts as a mediating factor in this relationship. This means that parents who have more positive expectations and behaviors can help reduce aggression and increase social discipline in their children. This study emphasizes the importance of the role of parents in shaping adolescents' social behaviors and suggests that educational programs for parents be designed to strengthen parental authority and reduce aggression in adolescents. Overall, the results of this study can help improve social relationships and discipline in adolescents and pave the way for further research in this area.
