چکیده مقاله:

The right to nutrition is one of the most important rights of children. Because a child who does not have proper food, health, and education today will have no future except disability and physical and mental retardation. A child only has one chance to grow, and that chance is today. A clearer and more comprehensive understanding of the factors that cause malnutrition and the solutions to this issue, especially for children, requires the cooperation of the international community. Given the importance of this issue, we intend to examine the right to nutrition of children in the Iranian legal system and international documents. Through a descriptive and analytical method, we have concluded that this right has been supported in the international legal system as well as in Iranian domestic law. In the Iranian legal system, laws have been enacted regarding infant nutrition, which protect both the mother and the newborn. Unfortunately, in international law, the right to access food and food security of children has not been specifically examined. However, important documents in this field include: the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Universal Declaration of the Survival, Development and Protection of Children, the Declaration of Human Rights, etc.
