چکیده مقاله:

Some families may exacerbate or mitigate the risk of suicide, but research in this area is still limited. Studies show that adolescent children who lose a parent to suicide are at a higher risk for suicidal behavior themselves. Additionally, the unique stresses of military life negatively affect the mental health of family members and children. Suicide prevention strategies involving families, who are crucial in recognizing warning signs and engaging with mental health services. However, the bureaucratic and cultural environment of the military can deter individuals from seeking help, as the military often treats suicide as an individual mental health issue rather than a systemic problem
