In the present study, an attempt was made to determine the effect of perceptual-motor training(PMT) on attention in children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Theparticipants (۲۰ girls and ۲۰ boys) were divided into experimental and control groups. They wereselected from among ۷۰ subjects after assimilation using research-related tests to be matched.The design of the study was semi-experimental including an independent variable, a pretest and aposttest. After considering the research hypotheses using descriptive statistics and one-wayAnalysis of Covariance (ANCOVA), the results suggested a significant difference in posttestscores in experimental and control groups after independent variable being applied. The resultsalso showed that perceptual-motor trainings for children with ADHD increase their attentionbecause perceptual-motor trainings impacted on increasing neurological and cognitive functionof children with ADHD.
