Stabilization of Gold-NPs over the surface of a β-cyclodextrin incorporated ZSM-۵ for the C-C coupling reactions

This research is motivated by excellent results, with evaluation attempts and a newly synthesized catalyst ZSM-۵ @ APTES @ β-cyclodextrin organic compound @ AU-NPs using ZSM-۵ functionalized APTES @ β-cyclodextrin and stabilization of gold nanoparticles. ZSM-۵ @ APTES @ β-cyclodextrin has been performed as a highly efficient heterogeneous catalyst used in the C-C coupling reaction. Zeolite (ZSM-۵) belongs to the MFI structure type [۱, ۲]. ZSM-۵ may be a type of crystalline aluminosilicate zeolite belongs to the pentacyl zeolite family. ZSM-۵ was first synthesized by Argauer and Landolt in ۱۹۶۹ [۳,۴]. Since amino groups can be strongly attached to metal nanoparticles, Zeolite (ZSM-۵) can be attached to gold nanoparticles (Au) nanoparticles using amino groups. The (ZSM-۵) type zeolite was dispersed in dry toluene using an ultrasonic device and ammonized with a combination of (۳-aminopropylthriethoxysilane) (ZSM-۵ @ APTES, NH۲). Subsequently, the amine-activated Zeolite (ZSM-۵@ATPES) is converted, In the following, the synthesis of the compound ZSM-۵ @ APTES @ β-cyclodextrin was carried out. The final step, the catalyst ZSM-۵@ATPES/ β-cyclodextrin @Au-NPs containing the purified product is complete. Since the amino group can be firmly attached to the metal nanoparticles, the zeolite can be functionalized with the amino group to obtain gold nanoparticles. The resulting composite was employed as a support for the heterogenization of the Au-NPs. Various techniques, including FT-IR, XRD, SEM, TEM, EDS, and elemental mapping, were used to characterize ZSM-۵@ APTES/β-CD/Au-NPs, indicating its successful preparation. Three C-C coupling reactions, including the Suzuki, Heck, and Sonogashira coupling reactions, were promoted using the produced catalyst. As a result, the proposed catalyst displays improved catalytic performance. In addition, the suggested catalyst was highly recyclable up to ۹ times. Here, we prepared a ZSM-۵ as a zeolite formation and employed its functionalization with APTES and β-cyclodextrin organic compound and stabilization of Gold Nano particles.
