Russia and NATO relations: under the shadow of Yugoslav conflict

The goal of this paper is to illuminate, the position that Russian federation occupied in one of devastating conflicts at the late days of XX century .the concentration will be at the first Yugoslav crisis which started ۶th April of ۱۹۹۲ and ended in ۱۴ December ۱۹۹۵. I would like to answer what happened between soviet union and later Russian federation and their attitude toward NATO? And what factors did affect Russians attitude toward NATO in first Yugoslav war? What persuade Russian high rank of authorities to engage in this conflict? And Did Russian performed on western parameters or their own? And the crucial point which I like to raise is that What kind of solution Russians saw and attempted to implement in this conflict and Did western allies agreed to that kind of Russian initiative?Structure of this paper will be : Short preview over soviet affairs regarding NATO expansion, first signs of Yugoslav crisisBosnian crisis which shapes major part of body Russia and west back and forth in their interactions regarding to Bosnian conflict Distinction between first war (۱۹۹۲-۹۵) and second war (۱۹۹۸-۹۹)conclusion
