Nurses are the backbone of the healthcare system and play a crucial role in healthcare. So it isimportant to shed light on creating a work environment that prioritizes the well-being of nurses.Physical activities play a vital role in improving cardiovascular fitness and strengthening muscles, andhave a significant impact on nurses' health. Physical activity among nurses is vital for retention,performance, and the overall quality of life. Ergonomic factors, encompassing the design andorganization of the workplace, significantly impact nurses' well-being. Comfortable seating, properlighting, and accessible workstations contribute to a positive work environment. In contrast,inadequate ergonomic design can lead to burnout, musculoskeletal issues, and reduced physicalactivity among nurses. Ergonomic interventions are imperative to reduce work-related musculoskeletaldisorders among nurses. An ergonomically designed workstation promotes efficiency and reducesphysical strain. Equipment accessibility and easy access to essential medical equipment are crucial fornurses. Poorly organized supplies and hard-to-reach tools can create frustration and musculoskeletalcomplaints. Ergonomic shift scheduling takes into account nurses' circadian rhythms and preferences.A well-designed schedule contributes to a better work-life balance. So regular workplace assessmentsare necessary to identify ergonomic issues and implement necessary changes. It is also recommendedto have training programs for nurses on ergonomic practices and the importance of maintaining ahealthy work environment. It is crucial to involve ergonomic experts in the design and renovation ofhealthcare facilities to ensure optimal workspace layout. Creating a conducive work environmentthrough ergonomic design is imperative for enhancing nurses' physical activity. By addressingergonomic factors, healthcare organizations can foster a positive atmosphere, reduce occupationalstress, initiate work behavior without inducing musculoskeletal discomfort for nurses, and ultimatelyimprove the overall quality of care. Finally, increasing and promoting physical activity among nursescan guarantee an improvement in the quality of care and guide them toward healthy decisions in thehospital environment and society. In conclusion, promoting physical activities among nurses issuggested as a comprehensive strategy for improving healthy behaviors in the community.
