چکیده مقاله:

A crisis as a terrible condition, is a type of response to an incident's threat and can persist for hours or weeks. Timing is of utmost importance in the event of a natural disaster, and many procedures are done to alleviate a person's agony and return them to their initial emotional equilibrium. When an individual attains emotional equilibrium, the crisis is over. Adaptive responses to a crisis mobilize the individual's potential forces, whereas maladaptive responses exacerbate the crisis and result in degeneration, regression, and mental disorder symptoms. Natural crises have impacted the populace with different psychological manifestations. This article presents the most fundamental principles and methods of psychological intervention and humanitarian action in a crisis. Another point of view is establishing a timeline for necessary interventions following the incident's aftermath, considering the humanitarian program cycle, relying on scientific sources, and emphasizing the crisis conditions resulting from natural disasters.
