From the second language pedagogy perspective, being well-informed of variant personality traits, or personality orientations toward communication participation within L۲ education has always been emphasized, and investigations into it have been a continuum line. This emphasis upon communication as the ultimate goal of language learning in modern language pedagogy has generated the significant necessity in L۲ learning and teaching to particularly attend to the factors associating willingness to communicate as positive main polar of successful language learning. Willingness to communicate as a prerequisite factor is shown to influence the frequency of communication and proficiency through seeking chances to speak, and it can be manifested via considering other personality traits such as psychological reactance and experiential curiosity. The attempts of this article were made to cover a review of the significance of WTC pertinent two core traits within L۲ context. By reviewing this article, an emphasis would be placed on further researches significantly examining WTC in reactive and curious learners. Therefore, this article could be of novel and significant for further literature and domains of psycholinguistics and communication area specifically instructors and educators to lead them one step forward to the betterment of our educational systems in L۲ language learning and language teaching contexts.
