Design and operation of two nuclear software packages for calculating radioisotopes cross sections and drawing their graphs

In this research, two software packages have been designed. One of them is the main program and is for the sake of extraction and computation of radioisotopes cross sections using MCNPX code for multi-group and arbitrary neutron energies. This program is coupled with another program entitled “AutoNJOY” which has been designed in this research. The AutoNJOY program is able to extract radioisotopes cross sections for multi-group in arbitrary temperatures and then transfers the new data to the main program automatically. Then, the results are automatically transferred to the main program and compared with the results obtained by MCNPX code and are finally drawn.
