Artificial intelligence applications in maintainingthe environment

The environment is the habitat of all living beings, including humans. Humans' direct andindirect dependencies on the environment cannot be obtained from other sources. Therefore,the natural functioning of the environment should stay within the standard. The IndustrialRevolution, the increase in population, and the use of fossil fuels caused an environmentallyunsustainable development in the last century. Considering the importance of the environment,serious decisions were made to restore and preserve it. Environmental protection by humansystems has had many problems. With the development of technology, technology-orientedsystems were created to preserve the environment. In recent years the Internet of Things andartificial intelligence development in a sustainable environment has been noticeable. Ofcourse, some of these developments are at the research step. In this article, the application ofartificial intelligence in environmental protection has been investigated by studying relatedarticles to understand the concept of artificial intelligence in Sustainable development andenvironmental protection.
